Synopsis
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private detective and becomes a mole in a secret investigation into a nursing home.. Michael Schur was inspired to create “A Man On the Inside” after watching the Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.” He says, “The Mole Agent” is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way as, “I have to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do something similar with the tone: Basically, our show contributes to that feeling of making us want to call our moms?.
How can you not appreciate Ted Danson
A legend, guys, like Tom Sellecks mustache. Anyway, I found this show to be a boy of all things.
Especially in the later stages, when things really matter for the right reasons
Some pretty funny lines, two very attractive female characters who never fail, and also a great message about the bonds that form in life. I also found this show to resonate with me, being that it touches on dementia.
I definitely recommend this series and I also look forward to another season
Losing my father recently and battling this terrible disease, just made me feel more connected. However, as each episode progressed, I became more invested and found each character to be charming and endearing in their own unique way.
